Secure and Detained Settings (SDS) Membership and Fellowship Committee (MFC) Vacancy

We currently have a vacancy on the MFC for a Clinician working in SDS.

The committee meets every two months, and the next meeting is at 10:15 on Tuesday 10 June 2025. These meetings are currently held virtually.

The Membership and Fellowship committee considers:
– Applications for promotion from Member to Fellow;
– Applications for Membership by Equivalent Qualification;
– Applications for Associate, Affiliate (including Student, Nurse/Midwife and Paramedic) and Licentiate Membership;
– Applications for Fellowship and Honorary Fellowship.

The committee is chaired by the Vice President (Legal Medicine) and reports to the Faculty Board. Representatives will serve a term of three years which may be extended by a further two years.

This is a voluntary position. As the committee currently meets virtually, travel is unlikely to be required; however, any necessary travel expenses would be reimbursed in line with FFLM Guidelines.
