Bond Solon Annual Expert Witness Conference 2024

The Bond Solon Annual Expert Witness Conference is taking place on Friday 08 November 2024, with the option to attend in person in London or virtually.

Paul Philip, Chief Executive of the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), will be speaking at the conference. The SRA is the independent regulator of solicitors and law firms in England and Wales, and is responsible for regulating more than 200,000 solicitors. Over the last few years, results from various Bond Solon expert witness surveys have highlighted perennial issues that experts face when dealing with some instructing solicitors, such as pressure to produce a favourable opinion and late or non-payment of fees. Paul Philip will explain what the SRA does and in what circumstances and at what stage the SRA can help expert witnesses. Other speakers will be confirmed in due course.
