Institute for Addressing Strangulation Webinar Series for Emergency Clinicians

The Institute for Addressing Strangulation (IFAS) has launched a series of webinars which will be delivered by expert speakers specifically targeted at clinicians working in emergency care.

The webinars will provide detailed insight into identifying and supporting patients who have experienced strangulation who present to emergency clinicians, nurses and paramedics.

The webinars will take place on:

  • Tuesday 06 February 2024
  • Tuesday 20 February 2024

 

The webinars will include survivor testimonies of their experience of reporting and response from healthcare professionals, providing clinical staff with a first-hand insight into the lived experience of those strangled and the prevalence and impact of this insidious crime.

The webinars will all start at 12:00 and consist of 75 minutes of presentation followed by 15 minutes for questions and discussion.

These webinars are free to attend. Please note that these webinars are for clinicians working in an emergency care setting.
