Pre-Release Risk Assessment – Recommendations for Healthcare Professionals working in the custody environment

In recent years concerns have been raised about the increase in ‘apparent suicides’ following police custody.

Police now routinely conduct pre-release risk assessments. If there are concerns Healthcare Professionals are asked to perform an assessment.
