RCGP’s 7th Health and Justice Summit: Journeys Through Justice – Leadership and Transformation is a 2-day summit organised by the RCGP Secure Environments Group in partnership with Care UK, NHS England and NHS Improvement, Martindale Pharma, Camurus, Broadmoor, Ashworth, and Rampton high secure hospitals, Spectrum, Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, HMP Berwyn, West London NHS Trust, Correvio, Learn it Online, Leyden, St Andrews and Hanham Health

Following on from a successful event in Liverpool in early 2019, RCGP is delighted to be bringing the Summit forward to Monday, November 25th and Tuesday, November 26th in the Mercure Hotel in Bristol.

The main title will be ‘Journeys Through Justice – Leadership and Transformation’ – focusing on a range of themes including Women in prison, Transgender pathways, Children’s services, Learning disability and difficulty and Trauma-informed care. This is just an outline of some of the subjects being covered, there will be many more.

The RCGP’s 7th Health and Justice Summit, aims to showcase some of the more specific areas of  scope of practice and highlight developments in training and the innovative work taking place across the secure estate.

As in previous years, the first day will broadly address the physical health of people in Secure Hospitals and the second day will focus more Prisons, Immigration Removal Centres, Young Offenders Institutes, Secure Children’s Homes & Secure Training Centres.

There is always considerable overlap between the two days.
