 The Faculty of Forensic and Legal Medicine (FFLM) is a Faculty of the Royal College of Physicians.  It is a registered charity set up in 2006 to develop and maintain the highest possible standards of competence and professional integrity in the field of forensic and legal medicine.  Its purpose is to advance education and knowledge, and develop and maintain good practice, in the field.

Job title: Learning and Development Manager

 London, 35 hours per week

 £37,868 per annum

 Maternity cover initially up to one year


The role

In this exciting, crucial role you will coordinate the commissioning, promotion, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of the learning programme for members whilst providing administrative support to the Board as its committees and sub-committees.

Coordinating the administration and publicity of all our learning activities, courses and events will be a key part of this role, working closely with our stakeholders including venues, trainers, facilitators, and delegates. You will coordinate the organisation and administration of our annual conference and Annual General Meeting and ensure that a comprehensive programme of relevant and up-to-date online learning and webinars is available for our members to access.

You’ll need to be a strong administrator providing full administrative support for Board meetings and for FFLM committees and sub-committee meetings dealing with diary management, coordinating production, publication and promotion of FFLM guidance and policy publications, whilst delivering excellent customer service to members and other stakeholders.

About you

You will need to have a strong customer service-orientated approach, with excellent planning, organisational and time-management skills. You’ll need exceptional communication skills with an ability to develop good working relationships with all stakeholders, and work effectively as part of a small team.
