Guidance on Paternity Testing

There may be an issue regarding the paternity of a woman’s pregnancy, where it may have arisen from an alleged rape or sexual assault, or be as a result of consensual intercourse, with the woman’s regular partner.

This guidance has been updated, as a result of new developments since it was originally published in 2010.
