FFLM Updates, 18 June 2010

18th June 2010

Dental Legal Advisers and Forensic Odontologists
The Faculty of Forensic and Legal Medicine (FFLM) would like to consult the membership on the subject of Dental Legal Advisers and Forensic Odontologists.

Subsequent to representation by these groups, the Board has requested the views of the membership on an extension of membership categories to include Dental Legal Advisers and Forensic Odontologists. In particular it has been suggested that the work undertaken by Dental Legal Advisers is similar to the work of Medico-legal Advisers and, with regard to Forensic Odontologists, the forensic nature of their work is such that they should also be considered as forensic practitioners.

The FFLM would be grateful if you could respond by adding your comments to the website forum by Wednesday 14th July 2010. To access the forum, log into the website and follow the links to the Consultations area of the forum. To retrieve your password, click here. Any queries, please contact the office.
