Learning the Lessons - Quick Time Bulletin

You will be aware from press reports of the murder of two French students committed by Dano Sonnex while the subject of a recall to prison. Serious failings on the part of prison and probation staff as well as errors by the police were identified in the course of investigations into events leading to the murders.
In view of the tragic consequences of the errors by the force involved, the Learning the Lessons Committee issued a quick time bulletin yesterday to alert all forces to the need to guard against similar errors. I attach a copy of the bulletin.
