FFLM Research Subcommittee

The Academic Committee of the faculty wishes to set-up a Research Subcommittee to progress research in forensic and legal medicine as outlined in the standing orders:
- To consider all matters relating to research with which the Faculty may be associated.
- To develop a U.K. research agenda for forensic and legal medicine. The agenda will reflect any nationally agreed research priorities and the need to develop evidence-based forensic and legal medical practice.
- To identify suitable research topics to implement the research agenda.
The Academic Dean would like to receive expressions of interest from Fellows and Members who have a proven track record in medical research who would like to chair this subcommittee. It is hoped that much of the work of the subcommittee will be done electronically. The subcommittee will report to the Academic Committee.
Ideally, candidates should have extensive experience in the field of forensic and legal medicine as well as a proven interest in research.
