Proposal to amend Standing Orders

The Faculty is pleased to announce that the proposed change to Standing Order 2.2.3 was approved at the FFLM Annual General Meeting on 3rd June, and subsequently at the Council Meeting of the Royal College of Physicians on 8th July 2008.

Standing Order 2.2.3 will be revised, from;

“No Foundation Members will be elected beyond three years after the date the Faculty was set up by the adoption of these Standing Orders (“the Adoption Date”).”

to

“No Foundation Members will be elected beyond three years and six months after the date the Faculty was set up by the adoption of these Standing Orders (“the Adoption Date”).”
